Group Welcomes First Affiliate Member

At the start of 2021, the RDF Industry Group welcomed Herambiente as its first affiliate member.

Herambiente, which is predominately controlled by the Hera Group, is the largest company within the Italian waste treatment sector. Herambiente treats approximately 6.6 million tons of waste annually across its 90 plants (of which 10 are waste to energy) and operates within both national and international markets.

The RDF Industry Group’s affiliate membership provides those involved in the RDF supply chain the opportunity to benefit from being linked to the Group, access to monthly data and information updates, and accreditation with the Group’s Code of Practice.
